High Adventure Programs and Photo Albums There are special learning experiences available in scouting outside the realm of the troops council area. There are four national high adventure programs available to scouts. Because these adventures are of a high physical demand during a seven to 14 day outing in the wilderness, there are some minimum age requirements. Generally, the scout has to be no younger than thirteen or fourteen, depending on the specific program. The three national programs are: Florida
Sea Base Islamorada, Florida

---- Troop

In addition to these three national level programs, there are 55 council high adventures and 17 more specific advanced programs. Here is a link for more information on these "High Adventures" http://usscouts.org/netresources/ha.asp Members of Troop 61 regularly
