Gasconade Float Trip

Having fun on the river meant water fights with squirt guns and tipping over others canoes. This led an instructional element by the Senior Patrol Leader on to properly right a canoe while in the water and while near the beach. As in all water activities, each personl, scout and scout leader always wears a Life jacket.

Patrols have done away with Rommen Noodles and are eating complete nutritious meals

The boys were entertained after lunch by catching crawdads

The first stop on the trip was actually 'up river'. There was a cave near where we put in.

The Gasconade is 161 miles long. We floated six miles of it just below Richland, Missouri
