The Castle at Ha Ha Tonka

In the early 1900's a Kansas City Business man, Robert M. Synder, began building this mansion. The 60 room European style 'castle' was built out of materials found on the 2500 acre site. Included in the property was a large horse stable, an 80 foot water tower and nine green houses. Two fires destroyed the mansion in the late 60's and early 70's. The stone walls are all that remain.
