The Merit Badge Academy, previously known as the Merit Badge Marathon is held for scouts in the Pioneer Trails District. Last year the Academy was not held due to several reasons. Attendance was up this year compared to other years.

Alan A. and other senior scouts from Troop 61 start their first introduction to SCUBA diving at a local dive shop.

Mike and Tracy M. help everyone with knowing how the equipment works and how to be safe while using it. 

Mike and Tracy M. are certified dive instructors. They are going to teach and help certify those scouts and scouters that will be going on the dive trip to the Bahamas this summer.

Rick and Joshua M. are two of twelve going on this trip too.
