 Troop 61 participated in the 2003 Pioneer Trails District Merit Badge Marathon. Many other troops were represented, and scouts attended many different merit badge classes.  One of Troop 61's Assistant Scoutmaster was the Salesmanship Merit Badge counselor.  Many of the merit badges were hands on learning. Here, scouts learn how to thread a pipe for the plumbing merit badge.   Some of 61's scouts are learning fingerprinting. Each scout in the class was given a set of his own prints to study. |
