Float Trip Niangua River August 2003

A Good Scout is always prepared....

The group has put into the river and floating down stream... sort of

A couple of adults from 61, headed that way too

Perfect weather for a float. Clear and warm. This weather helped the star gazers that evening looking a galaxies, globular clusters M13 and M28 and the planet Mars. Mars was the closest to Earth in 60,000 years!! See why you don't want to miss any of our overnights?

You're suppose to float IN the canoe Brad!

"I think there is a leak in the kitchen some where"

Lunch on the River

Squirt Gun fight!

A scenic view. Look closer for the scout on the rope swing! Yeee Haaa!

The Adult patrol's motto: "You're never too old"

Win had a great time

A picture is worth a thousand words, but so does the term
"Happy Campers"
